Chive Butter


  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons snipped chives
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper


  1. In a small bowl, cream together the butter, chives, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Cover the herb butter and store in refrigerator for 3 hours before use.
